Just back from the Southern Dodecanese cruise on board the boat skilfully captained by Alessio. Perfect itinerary, beautiful bays and locations both by sea and by land, good management of the galley and (thanks to the ladies on board and to the skipper) excellent lunches and dinners on board. Who we are

Today, Blueleaves Sailing welcomes its guests aboard Anemeliá, a name that says it all: in Greek, it means carefree living, freedom from worries—exactly what we aim to offer those who sail with us. Anemeliá is a comfortable, spacious, and welcoming yacht that still preserves the authentic pleasure of true sailing, carried by the wind.

But it’s not just life on board. From the unique perspective of the sea, you can admire ancient temples, windmills, and hilltop villages (chorá) while relaxing in the sun on deck. Once moored, it’s easy to hop on a scooter to explore the soul of the islands: stroll through picturesque alleys, discover hidden chapels, hike through Mediterranean landscapes for the more adventurous, or simply enjoy the peace of a sunset from above.

On board, guests can enjoy Italian cuisine without giving up the freshness of a Greek salad, perfect for warm summer days, and Greek yogurt with honey is a must at breakfast. In the evenings, local taverns and their authentic hospitality are often the perfect choice.

This variety is one of the strengths of our charter: a perfect blend of sailing and immersive experiences that leaves no room for boredom, making the holiday ideal and accessible even for those who have never been on a boat.

Alessio, the skipper of Anemeliá, comes from the hilly area between Lake Garda and Verona, a land of olive groves and fine Italian wines. His offshore sailing career began in 2006 in the cold and challenging waters of the Solent, England, where he gained solid experience sailing leisure yachts.

With various boats, he has accompanied friends and guests in the Aegean and other seas (Tyrrhenian, Adriatic, Baltic, Caribbean), always appreciated for his availability and companionship.
